McDope’s G15 Sysstats for Linux 1.5 is coming

I’m currently cooking version 1.5 of my (most probably not) famous „McDope’s G15 Sysstats„. It will feature the same features like v1 of course but will have full support for a config file so you don’t need to recompile it.

But that will be only the start, the G15 fever got me again and also there was some positive feedback about it (ty Markus) so i will further improve it. There will be definitly a 1.7 where i will strip as much external program calls as i can, followed by a v2 which will feature more features, more screens and more of everything. Stay tuned….

Ich arbeite momentan an Version 1.5 meines (wahrscheinlich nicht) berühmten „McDope’s G15 Sysstats„. Es wird bei den alten Features bleiben erst einmal, dafür wird es aber volle Unterstützung für eine Konfigurationsdatei geben, so das man das Applet nicht für jede Kleinigkeit neu kompilieren muss.

Aber das wird nur der Anfang sein, das G15 Fieber hat mich wieder gepackt und außerdem gab es heute ein wenig positives Feedback über das Applet (dank dir Markus) also werde ich es noch weiterentwickeln. Es wird definitiv eine 1.7 geben die dann hoffentlich ohne externe Programme wie lifstat etc. auskommt. Fest geplant ist auch schon eine v2 die dann mehr Features, mehr Anzeigen und mehr von allem haben wird. Schau ab und zu rein um auf dem laufenden zu bleiben…
